STUDENTS: Scenefest 2008 is here! The BHS Drama Company will be performing tonight, May 9th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the PAC. Tickets are available for $5 at Red Rock Books or $7 at the door. Come join the talented and hard working actors and actresses for the last show of the season. –Ms. Kratz

STUDENTS: Tickets go on sale today for the 2008 Prom! Ticket prices are as follows: $20 for a single w/ASB, $25 for a single w/o ASB, $40 for a couple with ASB and $50 for a couple w/o ASB. You may buy tickets before school, at lunch and after school at the Finance Office window (Mrs. Sween’s office). You must have your ID to purchase tickets. Remember the Prom is for juniors and seniors and those invited by a junior or senior. Prom is May 17th at the Kerr McGee Center from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. We hope to see you there. –Mrs. Cope
STUDENTS: Cross Country meeting Monday May 12 at lunch in portable P1. All those planning on participating next fall should attend. Spring practice begins Monday, May 12 at the BHS track at 3:00 pm. Make sure all necessary paperwork is turned in to the activities office, including emergency cards and updated physicals. –Coach Barnes
STUDENTS: Tomorrow, Saturday, May 10th from 9a.m. to noon, the BHS Band holds tryouts for Colorguard. If you have dance experience and love music, join this exciting group. Perform at football games, parades and field show competitions (plus a few concerts) with the Burroughs High School Band next year. –Mr. Austin
NEXT YEAR’S JUNIORS AND SENIORS: AltaOne will be on campus to interview students to fill four positions opening this fall.
